It's that time again. Time for me to bid for next years vacation time.

Do we know the dates for GL 2015?

Also, i know there were several organizers for 2013 and I'd like to throw my hat in the ring to volunteer. Alan, give me a call if I can help over the winter, spring, or summer. I have a lot of time off during the week and I will be staring at the floor for the next 6-8 months.

No dates set for GL 15' We usually get together on this in Jan to discuss the plans for the event. Hang in there. Once we know of the dates especially, we'll post them so everyone can plan..

Not good enough Dave. Clearly the entire reunion should be centered around me and my schedule.

Wisconsin State Show Ski Tourney is 7/16-7/19 for 2015 FWIW, which would be a conflict for any attendees/sponsors who are involved in show skiing.

Wisconsin Rapids. I used to do both in the same weekend but it really makes for a bust of both!

Missed this thread. I was not expecting to see it till after Christmas. My calendar is marked!
For thousands of years men have felt the irresistible urge to go to sea, and many of them died. Things got better after they invented boats.

Chris,
What's the problem? I sense some sarcasm with the potential rough water. I did it with my 14'6" Atom!

Definitely sarcasm, Pete. We'll be there this year with a few boats...Dad might even bring the Continental by that point!

It's been a few year's since we've seen the Brainard's and the Atom...are you going to make the trip?

Hopefully no one is scared off by that post. I'd have the Tique up there again next year but there aren't enough trucks going from Iowa for it to make the cut.

Dave, let us know how we can help. Brother Ben is talking about going so we'd be more than happy to help with an audio system for the park again.

Ha, I hardly doubt it. Everyone knows or has heard about GL's water..

Yes!!! We'll be in touch. If you can bring the sound system again, that would be awesome.. Look forward to seeing the "Storm-Troopers" this summer !!!

I am saying we do footing whip turns right there in front of the boat ramp in that small bay to grab some smooth water.

Have Hollywood on standby for a pull back to the ramp! We made a few passes in Pat's boat (on the boom) in 09? right before Tim sucked up a bunch of crud in the BFN. That's the best water for sure!

There's gonna be some cool boats this year....Phil (70cc) and his 1st gen 1963 Ski Nautique, Paul Waters has a "new" 68 Barracuda hiding somewhere and rumor has it ReidP will be bringing a Barracuda as well! Those are just a few off the top of my head that I'm excited to see.

It's getting cold here in Iowa, time to start thinking about next year!

Look at those knuckle heads in that Mustang behind Pete with no windshield, wonder if they were crazy enough to ever come back?

Gary, I think I recognize that boat from '12 but it looks so different without a bunch of folks huddling around and the doghouse up.
