Dad always said "There are only 2 colors for boats, white and black, and only a fool would paint his boat black"
Knowledge comes by taking things apart: analysis. But wisdom comes by putting things together.

i think its funny how the ebay add specifically says it does not get hot if your thinking it does. Because when this boat was originally advertised on one of the websites i remember seeing it on( may have been N3) it said something at the end of the add along the lines of "if your worried about the seats getting hot this isn't the boat for you because they do get a little hot."
pretty cool looking boat, i think it would have looked a lot better if they put white interior in it though. the black interior is a mistake. but hey get a pretty sweet boat for cheaper than new and have it reupholstered, that isn't a heck of a whole lot extra.

It really depends on where you are. There might only be a few days up here where those seats got uncomfortably hot. Far more days where the added warmth would be a good thing!

even up in new england i think the black seats would pose a problem with most passengers.

I bet 130 for sure. My royal blue gets prob 120, towels are a must. Now I'm curious, I'll put a thermometer on them one hot afternoon. I know I'm crazy but I want a '72 or '73 orange CC with black interior.

LOL.....An upgrade from a standard 351

When people run down to the lake to see what's making that noise, you've succeeded.

So we should have replaced the white vinyl on Jonny's BFN with black - Dang HW, we missed on that one!

Yeah, but seems kinda silly to have summer cushions for the 4 days you can use them up here...

we have an Orange and black mustang, those black seats actually have burnt my arms and back. One time, we poured water on the seats and the water started sizzling.

That whole boat would melt from the heat before the end of June in Texas. I shot the IR thermometer at the carpet a couple of years ago, middle of the afternoon, upper 90's which is a regular day around here and was 167.

I am with you my friend. That thing deserves to be sitting on the bottom of a very deep lake someplace.

I feel like it wouldn't look that bad, if the seats would've been white with black pipping but that's just my opinion.
