A minor update, but it seems like it's been forever. The engine finally got in

Yes! That or it's going to be up "For Sale" I really hope to make it to the reunion in Wisconsin.

I will when I get back to MI to work on it. I ended up getting a foot pedal off of eBay, I originally thought it was a heel to toe motion(no spring back), since that's the way the other one is my buddy's Skylark. It has the torsion spring that is supposed to rebound it, after I bought it i realized that, so it needs a little help.

Thanks. Yup, I didn't look at the width.

It does go into a slot and I've yet to make the slot wide enough to just slip in. I've had to use a rubber mallet to install it, which is ok as long as you have extra to replace it with if you ever need to remove the panel.

Jonathan, they'll cut the stuff into 6' lengths so it can be sent USPS/UPS.

So you're cutting a slot close to the edge of the panel? This gets installed on the panel side right, so you can still lift the panel out.

No the T molding fits between the panel and floor.   The panel is not easily removable. The panel is screwed down with screws on the edge of the panel, then the T molding is installed and covers the screws, then as Pete said the T molding is screwed down, alternately into the floor and panel. Good thing about the rear panel is that the distance between the back seat and engine box is short enough so that the screws in the T molding can be hidden under the engine box and seat base.

You have done a fabulous job on her John,another one saved! Didn't expect anything less after seeing your others. Someday you'll have to make their debut at a reunion. Did you get the missing foot throttle straightened out?

1st and 3rd shots are calendar contenders for sure, send 'em in when the time comes.

What a beautiful boat! Nice work! Looks like you were able to get the steering wheel off to repaint the helm and the wheel.

It's sure looking fantastic. I's always a pleasure to see a boat where the restoration ia as close to original as possible. . If I ever come across it at a show, it would be a privilege to judge it if you chose to. Bring it to the Geneva lakes boat show at the end of September sometime.
