Roger, you blew my $100 steal!!!

HA! I wondered if this one would find it's way here.

That thing is a cool boat, looks like it is all there, and it is in AZ, so a chance it is not all rotted to hell! Good project for RJ when he finishes relocating out that way.

I will be shocked if this thing goes for $100. Doesn't Tim really like that Green, with the Holman Moody - he would probably drive to AZ for that price.

Always interested to see if anybody actually bites on these old CC's. This one will be interesting, because it has the Bat-boat windshields still intact.

I wonder how CC ever justified those windshields, those couldn't have been cheap to build and I don't think anything else used windshields like that (although I have a very limited depth of knowledge on other boats of that period.

Yeah with six days left, and already over $500, it won't be a free boat. I will guess $1500 sell price. Still worth it.

Steve,
They were actually easy to build and I say cheaper than the conventional. When I was at Watercraft, we had one on the lake that the owner broke. It's just a piece of thin poly that is curved by hard and held in place by the frame. The frames were easily bent by hand as well. They are held in place when screwed to the deck.

This one is no secret any more. Ebay and six days will make this less than a freebie. I sure do like it as a project boat though. Very cool windshield, and the HM motor with a rebuild---HHHHMMMMM

Jeff,
You don't like when CC turned the exhaust manifolds around and put the U bends in?

Saw that a few days ago and I do love that green and the HM powerplant. The Torino/separator are fascinating bits of CC history but as cool as they are, I don't have much yearning for one. That one is more interesting than most though.

Besides, I already have one boat that needs to make its way back from Phoenix... 2 ain't happening unless Mars can figure out how to stack them.

How about this 1988 Martinique? You can sleep between sets in the cuddy cabin and even call your friends on the CB radio.

That boat was for sale on craigs list in Boiling Springs NC last year, Looks ok but stringers are completely shot, and numerous soft spots in floors. I think it was priced around $1500, Engine seemed good.

I contacted the owner to ask about the boat and he's being coy. I have a friend who may have been interested if it was a solid boat and thankfully he won't waste any time on this.

According to the owner of this boat, it's not the same one on Craigslist a year ago.

This boat was never in NY. We have owned it for approximately 10 yrs. It was my father in law's, who had it built in Florida by Correct Craft, which his family owned. The boat is in fairly good condition, no stringer problems, has not been in the water for a few years but has been started every year. This is not the boat from NY. Thanks for checking.

So--maybe anyone interested in a nice $3500 Martinique could take a look.

Wake up Peter. Jake is talking about the Riviera posted on eBay in NC, not the Martinique in NY.

I would bet that's VHF, not CB, (plus VHF are typically white), which even though it's apparently on Winnipesaukee, would imply some saltwater history....

This guy claims this SV211 will run 72mph and has way more:

"Has a 6k RPM Rev Limiter Chip, runs 72mph in it's current configuration, capable of MUCH more. Has been re-propped to handle the built motor, still pulls out of the hole much stronger than a stock boat"

Guy has 130 pics but I did not see any of the motor??

Timmy has a challenger perhaps :)

That really is amazing, the centerpiece of the boat is the built motor but pictures of every hull angle at 7 degree increments but none of the motor!

I like the foot warmer exhaust above the platform. Have to admit it must sound great.
