I work for power company in Ohio as a lineman. Was in the truck going to a job with a new hire. Seen a Ski Nautique beside a farmers barn and said to the new guy I would like to stop and ask if the guy if he wants to sell. The new lineman said my dad owns it. They used to ski with it when he was younger until something went wrong with engine. His dad bought a crate engine and was going to install new engine and never had time. I ended up buying the boat and was going to take my time and restore it.
I ended up having to work a lot and didn''t have time either. So I took it to a boat restoration
business in Columbus. Ended up replacing stringers, carpet, upholstery all redone, engine completely redone. Many new parts. I have over $20,000 invested, only have few things left to be complete.
Trailer could be painted and needs new bunker carpet and couple gauges need replaced. The trailer does have new tires, rims, LED lights and wheel bearings. Boat runs great, but don''t have time to use and all my ski buddies from years ago are usually busy and my son is in college. Would like to sell instead of it sitting in garage. It has been in heated garage since it has been done. $12,500 or best offer. Have all the receipts for parts and work done.
