I have owned this Sport Nautique since November 2007. I purchased the boat from Whitelake Marine in NC. This boat needs some who knows mechanics, and that is not me. Installed a brand new engine in May 2014. However, in July 2014 my boat was tied to the dock and waves overtook my boat and I found it sitting underwater. The engine was pickled and I think in the right hands this could be great, but I do not have the skill or the time.
I have spent a year replacing the starter, carburetor, ignition coil, spark plugs and wires. The boat creates a sick wakeboard wake. This hull design is in high demand. I need to get rid of it as it is taking up valuable space in the garage. It has always been stored in a garage during the winter and never seen saltwater. It will start right up, but needs a mechanic''s touch.
