1st Place winner 1971-1981 at the SeaWorld Boat Owners Reunion (Orlando) - April 23rd 2005. ************** Bought her through this site. Thanks to Rick Strossner for selling her to me. I’ve owned a ’78,’81,’93,’98, and a ’03. I wanted to get back to a "classic" and feel lucky to have found such a nice one. Was first introduced to Nautiques in 1972 when my brother returned from a tourament with a very ugly green boat. Up till that time we had used outboards to ski. But the first time he fired up that Holman & Moody equiped Nautique on the ramp, I was hooked for life. He has also owned 6, like me, but now he drives an Air Nautique. We skied for years on the Sandusky Bay with the West Shore Water Ski Club but now I have retired and moved to Central Florida. We also have skied for years on a TVA lake in Eastern Tennessee. I love the web site, what a great place for us all to be able to get together and share experiances and expertise. Thanks to Keith for all his work! Update 6-3-06; The ’80 is keeping up her reputation. Took second this year at Orlando to SS-201 and his beautiful and fast Nautique. Update 9-8-07; The ’80 is still looking good and is faster than ever thanks to the guys on here but didn’t win or place at Orlando this year...SS-201 took top honors again!
