This 88 2001 was purchased from the 2nd owner with 450hrs and in relatively good shape as a ski/wakeboard boat for our family’s summer vacation. Over the last couple years its turned into a little family project and is now used on a regular basis. The boat has been detailed inside and out, we added a depth finder, bimini, and new cover. After the first summer, the heads were replaced (found a small external crack) as well as all attached hoses and gaskets. We installed a new tower and racks, modified the bimini to fit and replaced the steering cable, trailer bunk carpet and trailer lights. Over the last two seasons it’s been cosmetically overhauled with new interior skins and carpet, new dash plate, Perfect Pass, CD stereo with dash mounted remote and iPod connection, 2nd battery with an ACR and perko and a new Sunbrella cover from Cover Sports. Mechanically we’ve replaced the rudder and shaft packing, pitots, strut bearing and trailer brakes. It’s a great boat and we have a lot of fun both using and working on it (most times).
