We purchased this boat in 2008 as the 3rd owners. The boat was in original form when we bought it, and with the exception of a bimini, it remains original now. The boat also sits on a Correct Craft factory trailer.

This Nautique has the rare big block Chevy (PCM 454) rated at 330hp. The boat is mechanically sound, runs great, and looks great. The only maintenance items I have replaced have been a new starter in 2009, new cap/rotor/points/plugs in 2009, new 2/0 battery cables in 2010, and new spark plug wires in 2010. The interior is complete and in average/above average condition. The hour meter does not work, so I liberally guessed at 700 hours, based off of what the previously owner told me and how much we have used the boat (less than 50 hours per year). The original VDO clock just quit working this summer but all other gages work just fine.

The trailer was painted black in 2009, and had hydraulic brakes added, along with new Goodyear Marathons in the same year. Overall, the trailer is in great shape.

We are in no hurry to sell. I have the garage space to keep this boat indefinitely. We bought a 99 Sport Nautique in 2011 and it’s taken us a year to convince ourselves that we can let this 85 go. It deserves to go to a home where it will get used more than we have the time to use it now.
