I purchased this 1971 Correct Craft Mustang in August 2011 from a retired used car lot owner who had it stored in his building for the last 6 years. I quickly found out it was full of wet foam and rotten stringers. Thanks to the information on this site I completed a bare hull stringer / restoration job on this boat in August, 2012. I put in new stringers and a new floor but kept everything else original with the exception of adding a boarding ladder to the transom (it came from a correct craft). I sanded & buffed the gelcote, rebuilt the transmission, replaced the prop shaft and coupler, added copper exhaust pipes and re-painted the faded stripes. Keeping it original was a given and I only replaced parts that were absolutely necessary. Still need to restore the trailer back to it’s original white.

Thanks for taking a look,
Wes Bond
