We picked up our ’89 Sport Nautique on Memorial Weekend of ’08 from the original owner. It had 1000 hours when we brought it home and have added an additional 300 hours since then. My wife and I work 4 days a week with three day weekends so we are on the boat year round short of any really bad weather, which is not often in Central Texas...we average around 300 days of sunshine a year. Our winters are mild so the boat gets lot’s of regular use.
We also enjoy muscle cars, riding and racing off-road motorcycles, going out to hear live music, and really good food. If anyone out there wants to enjoy the beautiful Highland Lakes in the Texas Hill Country, west of Austin, drop us a line. Hopefully one day we can organize an informal CCF Central Texas get together.
Live is good, "no bad days!"
