Purchased in 2000 from a friend. Boat has been around this area it’s entire life. There are a few colorful stories, including a very well known rock star doing an interview, via cell phone, from this boat....and then not starting when the interview was over...wouldn’t you know!
Rebuilt the tranny the first season. Switched out the points, etc., for electronic ignition several years ago...what a difference in starting! Replaced all the gauges, including the hour meter that was stopped at 800 something. Have put 165 hours on the new meter. Mechanically, it is very sound. Rebuilt the carb. Always starts, always runs smooth and strong. Put on a new Acme 540 a couple years ago.
There is a stringer job in my future. Not looking forward to that!
