7-11-09 I traded my 1992 Harley Sportster for this boat on 7-11-09. I was skeptical at first because of the age but when I saw how well it had been taken care of I was sold. The sound of the 350 was so sweet. This is a great opportunity to have a vintage bow rider. I hope to get it on the water and have a blast tomorrow.
7-12-09 Well I got the boat on the water and achieved a max speed of about 10mph, thats a guess because the speedo didn’t work. Well neither did the tach but the temp gauge shot way up to over 200 then it died and wouldn’t turn over because apparently the battery is crapped out too. So it’s at the boat mechanic getting worked on. I haven’t given up on her yet but she better run good after I drop some money and let the pro’s fix her.
7-7-10 Had the boat started but couldn’t keep it running. Then the battery died and I had to recharge it. I am taking a huge loss on this at 500 but I need to get it out of my yard. If interested email me and I will get back to you asap.
