I just bought this 75 Ski Nautique in June of 2008. The first order of business was to get it running. I drained all fluids including the gas tank. Changed the plugs, points condenser, distributor cap, gas lines, fuel pump, fuel filter and water pump impeller and it ran for the first time in about 4 to 6 years. My wife and I have been cruising around the local lake. The swim platform was next. I just oiled it with teak oil not pictured and it looks great. I will continue to post as the restoration proceeds. I just did the top deck as recommended on this site. Three wet sand and two buffing runs. The carpet is cut but I will have to do a stringer job this winter. I removed all the gauges, painted the dash, windshield frame and replaced clean gauges ad completely restored speedometers. Racing stripe painted and radio installed. More to come...
