Just purchased this mostly original 1973 Ski Nautique from the third owner. I want to keep this one also! For most of its life, it has been kept in a boathouse on land and the trailer was used to lower the boat in and out of the water on a concrete ramp. This boat was purchased new here in my home county, but I found it for sale about 2 hours away. I am certain that it has stories to tell, but I haven’t talked to the original purchaser yet. He is still alive and living close by. Some of the documentation that came with the boat still has the original purchaser’s information. The trailer is NOT a ’73 model, it is a ’77 #3LB. The trailer is going to get a make-over, don’t worry!! I am very happy to have this in my collection, since it has the unique (for 1973 only I believe) stripes.
