I bought this boat from another member on this site in the spring of 2007. Unfortunately, he wasnt able to see this project through to its completion- so I picked it up where he left off. A full structural and cosmetic restoration (interior/exterior/trailer) followed. The engine received many new parts and accessories, but the original longblock remained unchanged (at least until the new owner got his hands on it!). Most of the other mechanicals (cables, gauges, lights) were updated as well.
The boat now resides with my Uncle Todd is Scotia, NY. A new 302 longblock approaching 300hp now pushes the boat into the mid 50's. Just a touch faster than when I owned it!
