This our family skiing and wakeboard boat. It’s taken a lot of work and a few years but it was worth all the time and effort. From water soaked foam to a new transmission and re-built motor we’ve struggled along with all the work getting lots of great advice from this site. This project would have never been completed without the advice from CCFans.

The engine was bored .030, the compression was increased to 165 psi, larger valves in the heads and we put the new Edelbrock Marine Carb on top of the Performer intake. We also bought the Acme 542 prop and with the modified engine it’s a very strong boat. The ignition is new and electronic and the overall result is a boat that starts and runs reliably and has all the power you need for slalom skiing or weighting up for wakesurfing and wakeboarding.
