This beauty is my 3rd Nautique...My first was another 1989 2001 that I bought in 2005 with 989hr that was immaculate as well. After getting more into wakeboarding and wanting the ability to have more friends out, I sold the '89 and upgraded to a New 2005 Super Air Team Edition. This was a monster of a boat and I kept it for about 5years. Sold that one because all of our friends started having babies and we were spending less time on the water so I exchanged the Super Air for a country club membership but in the back of my mind, I always regretted selling the 1989. I told my wife that if I ever ran across a mint condition that met my high level of particularness that I would buy another one....fast forward about 2-3 years and I stumbled across an original owner from New Mexico that was parting ways due to low use. This stunning boat is 100% OEM and was kept in climate controlled storage and after 30years had only managed to put 295 hours on it. All service records, owners manuals, etc were all accounted for and I had it shipped all the way across the country to its new home in Charlotte, NC!! Only thing I have needed to do is give it to my local marine mechanic and did a top to bottom service and new battery. There isn't a scratch on it and the only thing I'm going to want to do this fall is pull the pinstriping and redo since there are a few nicks in the current and replace the transom decal due to some fading. Other than that a full compound, polish, wax and she's as mint as I've ever seen. Hope to keep this for a long time!! If you're on Lake Wylie, SC....we'll be around!!
