wondering if my flow is enough on my engines...351w with crank driven water pumps into engine, thru thermostat to HiTek exhausts. the risers are more than warm. I don't think you have a problem,I have the same exhausts on a PCM 302 and it feels hot too.. But then again so does my HM and my GT 40. Obviously a more accurate method would be better but I have never bothered to check mine as I don't think there is a problem. This may not address hot manifolds, but you're engine will probably be happier with a 160/170 t-stat. The crank mounted pump is a hint that this is not the PCM cooling setup that many of us are familiar with – who marinized the engine? Is there a circulation pump? They likely wont run real cool, but if they are getting up there to boiling temps you are going to need to be careful for sure.
