Since the 2008 reunions, there has been a bunch of new names on the board as well as some interesting regulars that have yet to attend a reunion. Lets take this opportunity to start cajoling a few folks to MAKE THE TRIP!

Who would you like to meet or see at a 09 reunion?

1. Sanity and Blink. Any woman who sprays her own gel and the man who supports her must be a pretty cool duo. Plus, I really want to see the YuckyTan Mustang in person.

2. Nates78Ski. A young guy (well, by most of our standards)who is tackling a woodie resto and doing a great job.

3. Eric Lavine. Come on, dude! You are the 2nd most active poster and at least 10% of them are good! Besides, you could write it off on your taxes.

Would be great to see Eric at GL I love reading his posts. (10% of them anyway)
The political discussions he and Buffalo have always amuse me. Funny thing is 90% of the time I don't even know what they are talking about.

The added bonus would be his very attractive wife who would be required to keep track of his beer quota. Come on Eric looking at the USA map Ohio is not that far from GL only 526 miles 9 hrs 7 mins. Even a chevy should make that trip before a rebuild is due.

The list of people to meet is huge. I really got hooked by Buffalo's "Pumpkin Patch" thread when I found this great forum. The first thing I did on the computer every morning was check that thread.

Jbear sounds like a great guy I hope he is attending. Pete and TRBenj with their amazing knowledge of Correct Crafts, Boat Dr., JoeinNY, BKhallpass, SNobsessed, Raindog and his wife De who has made my wife feel much more comfortable about the trip to GL now.

I think I will need to put a list together for GL of real names to CCfan usernames. As I am hopeless with names but I usually know what car they drive.

I just hope I have enough time to have a chat or a beer with everyone attending.

Cool thread, I'll play...

First, I'd really like to see all the guys and girls that have made it each year so far. There are a lot of names I don't see on the list for GL09'. It would be a shame for them to miss this year. You all know who you are, and I sincerely hope you are still planning on coming for some portion of the weekend.

Second, there are so many new members registered, I look forward to meeting all of you. You're in for a great time with your families and fellow members.

As for Eric, we'd all certainly like for him to come out and enjoy the weekend with us, but will bet a case of your favorite hops, he doesn't make it haha

As for Mr. Buddy Lite and my friend Captain Morgan, I'm sure they will show up again as they are always a treat with their late night entertainment.

For the rest of you on the fence, {{Sanity}}, I really hope you sign up last minute and come out. We are going to have a blast !! Oh, and I'd love for the owner of the red paragon (his name escapes me) to come out again so he can show the masses that beautiful boat..

Life's good people, and summer is closing in. Again, don't miss this event...

Darn right we need to see Eric's wife there this year, it wouldn't be so bad if she brought him along as well.

What about Tull and his crew, maybe he is afraid to foot with all us youngins' LOL.

Very much looking forward to meeting the new attendees as much as seeing familiar faces from past years.

Workin Brownie on making the trip again, he is a maybe at best for the moment.

Steve,
We were talking about that last night. Unfortunatley, the Mustang won't be ready. Blink has to check his drill schedule. Not sure if we're towing a boat along yet or not, more than likely, not. Maybe the Doc and Karen will take me for a ride. Karen and I can sit in the back and do the princess wave.

Heck, I would be happy just to meet everyone, take pictures of everything, drink beer and fish off the dock.

Yeah HW, we already had a discussion as Michelle was asking questions about GL and told me that most likely they'd fly in for the event... They have darn near as many boats as Reid has. Ha.

Everyone that is flying in should post, because they can share a rental car. I know Keith will be flying in around 3:30 p.m. on Thursday.

I was going to share the ride with him, but know it look's like I will be driving in with the Reid's crew if all works out.

And yes Reid I will call you soon...

Great memory jolters and ideas here. Lobster Boy Marshall just left my house a few minutes ago and is certainly planning to make it. Boaty and Skipper can't stop barking about it and already have their raft and tennis balls packed. And I'm certainly looking forward to another, now-annual, celebratory Shot-Ski Photo Op (and shot) with the "Classic Bast%rds", as we induct newest member Bruce Hart.

But meeting some of these new 'Fans will be my highlight. To borrow from a Foster's Lager campaign a few yrs back, "LEWY..,Australian for Correct Craft".

I'm wondering if there'll be anything sane, about Sanity.

As for Eric; We've got a whole gang swinging right thru Ohio. We'll pick up you (and your tools) right along the way. Plus I'm sure we've got lodging available in at least one of the campers, so everything's covered.

Back to who we want to meet at GL.....

I want to meet a new gas-dock girl. The cutie from the last two years, remember Courtney (see photos from 07), well I believe she sorta had a hand in, or knowledge of, our rental pontoon boat engine getting banged up at the dock and us having to pay for it. Won't let that happen again. But she sure was cute.

I wanna get in on that Moose Drool-Spotted Cow taste test. Out of a keg, I agree with phospher and others that the 'Cow is A-OK. But something really sounds good about that Moose Drool also.

No way, can't have Courtney taking the fall..

She's working the dock again this summer and we talked about the reunion.. She told me "she can't wait to see the cute bald guy in that cool old boat"..

Yep, someone you want to meet at GL09' hahaha..

The Drool is, in my opinion, be best brown ale money can rent. I used to have to smuggle it back from MT/ID, but they sell it here now. I will bring a bunch spares for all those that want to taste a beer that does not taste like they made it with water that leached from a feedlot.

So we should feel free to hate you with a clear conscious?

Yall don't read that wrong; I'm yanking his chain and he knows it.

Guys, will there be a snipe hunt or a cow tipping trip we can take Eric on? I'll bring my cheese stretcher...the board stretcher is way too heavy.

Come on out, Eric - you can write it off as a promotional expense - you have to entertain customers once in a while!     You aren't going to get the chance to buy any beers though.

brunstuckians look at cow-tipping as an everyday activity...so I am sure eric will be looking for some other type of fun.
