Saffer - Both the vertical and horizontal depth changed at the 20" mark . Since there is such a change , I really think that it would be best for you to wait and measure your own boat when you can . I don't want to give misleading measurements .

Faceplant, sorry one more question- what is the "depth" once it reaches 20 inches? AS the spacer must taper with the channel.
Also is the vertical measurement consistent from the back to 20', or does it also taper? Thanks again. |

And that's exactly why I asked for a diagram. I would have bet he was asking for A.

If you are really a Saffer, what are you doing in New Zealand?
I'm gonna be in New Zealand in December, want to take me Wakeboarding? |

Is there any chance that it could be one of these two dimensions we are seeking.
If yes, say yes. If no, say no. If it is yes and A then say A. If its yes and B, then say B. |

He is talking about the area where the arrow is pointing. The Ronix eight.3 is a wedge that velcro's to the back of the boat. It comes with a spacer to veclro on the boat to take in a gap like what the SN2001 has.

Its the depth of the cutaway right at the back of the boat, a steep step down (approx 1 or 2 inches).

Are you building it using the airhead ramps?
Sorry I cannot measure, my boat is an hour away hibernating. |

Hi Guys
Can anyone with a 1988, 2001 please tell me the whether the cutaway at the back of the boat is 1 or 2 inches deep (need to be plumb with the start of the blue gel coat)? I need these dimensions to build the spacer for the wake shaper. Unfortunately the boat is 2hrs away for mew to measure. Thank you. |
