What America have we been for the past 200 years? Do you really think he is good enough to rival FDR with four terms? Fantastic! |

Problably not, and if we let Obama evolve in a second term we will continue this trend into his third, forth, and fifth terms until there is nothing left but Obama an Obama care. Is that what you really want? Or do you want us to continue to be the America we have been for 200+ years? |

Forgot to mention that Obama's mentor was Frank Marshall Davis, an early community organizer, and socialist (or communist). "An interesting fellow' that helped shape a young Barry Obama. BO's grandfather felt young Barry needed an African American male influence in his life. Frank, meet Barry. Barry, say hello to Frank!

You missed that you can tell he is lying because his lips are moving. He makes promises with no intention of keeping them. His words mean nothing.

Well, I will give it a shot if nobody else will. Maybe somebody can refute these points. 1. Pander to Gays 2. Pander to Hispanics 3. Pander to Women 4. Pander to Unions 5. Pander to our Enemies (pulled missile defense from Poland>>appease Russia) 6. Ignore Deficeit spending (annual deficeit of more than $1 Trillion) 7. Ignore National Debt (will surpass $16 Trillion this week) 8. Continues to push for public tax dollar "investments" to put "school teachers, fireman, and police" back to work (See point #4) Ever notice thats all they ever mention as to who will go back to work?? 9. Disrepect/Ignore religious beliefs (forced Catholics to provide free birth control to employees of Catholic organizations) 10. Used public tax dollars to bailout auto industry (billions and billions of dollars which have not been paid back>>GM stock down sharply) 11. Pushing America on a path to Socialism 12. Pit groups of Americans against each other 13. Create class envy 14. Increase taxes. 15. Support "green energy" companies....most of which have failed, causing billions of tax payer dollars to be flushed down the toilet 16. Hatred of big oil, coal and natural gas as fuel sources 17. Believes big government can take care of us from cradle to grave (remember his ficticious character named Julia, and how the government had programs for her at every stage of her life? Welcome to "Central Planning" comrades! 15. Has a tremendous fake southern baptist minister voice he can invoke to pander to small town/southern audiences. Help me out here guys....have I missed anything? |

Eric, despite some strong antiwar promises from candidate Obama, President Obama followed bushes path concerning Iraq and GITMO, and accelerated the "Just" war in Afghanistan. So we will have to distinguish him in domestic policy. He has doubled the number of months this country has spent over 8% unemployment, and he will double this total deficit by 2016 (from 10 to 20 trillion). He has moved more people from able to feed themselves to food stamps than any other president.......the list goes on.
You dodged the question. What are Obama's values? |

So, the Democratic agenda would be to sit idely by when our enemies attack us on our own soil killing thousands of Americans..... and do NOTHING???? Thats good to know.
I think Romney mentioned our enemies will see a lot stiffer spine than they have over the past four years. Thats also VERY good to know. I want a President with a stiff spine, and not one that will "have more flexibility after his next election" (as Obama was caught telling Russia's President during a "hot microphone" moment). He was referring to the fact he will make even more concessions to Russia, and weaken our military even more if he is re-elected. Obama scares me to death with his desire to weaken our country. So, I sure hope Romney has his own, much different agenda than Obama. |

you havnt mentioned that the war in the middle east cost a staggering 1.3 trillion and guys are still dying today over republican values...the war broke this country, not Obama.if we divided that 1.3 trillion amongst us, we wouldnt be talking about the next president. your number 1 point is embedded in those values and its what costs you and me the most.....thats what I dont like about the Republicans, some day you will realize that lives and war is nothing but a large corporation for profit...funny your defense will be that we need to protect our borders, but we have a big open border to the south and the north....doesnt that seem strange to you, the days of ground wars are long gone, if we eliminate your number 1 it will take care of 2 thru 10

Eric....I am going to challenge you here. Can you please tell me what Obama's values are? I would love to hear your perspective. In fact, I'll go first on Romney's values. They are: 1. Strong defense 2. Balanced Federal Budget 3. Reduce/eliminate national debt 4. Energy Independence 5. Job creation 6. Support our allies 7. Stand up to Iran and Russia 8. Reduce peoples dependance on government for living 9. Shrink the Federal government 10. Reduce taxes Would love to hear about Obama's values. |

Our current president and his party value class warfare and paying non-producers, and we have had 40+ months of unemployment over 8% more than all other presidents combined. You are right it is about the party's values.

with....in the back of his mind and anyone with a brain, the rags trying to knock it down in 93 (the towers) how possibly could they not know? it baffles me that someone could claim with the intelligence available and the man power that Bin Laden used, that we knew nothing about this.
If Bush didnt know then he truly is a stupid man |

What details did we give out? Do you really think it wasn't obvious in the aftermath? Is there really anything secret about a raid? Have you ever done one? I believe the American taxpayers right to know what they went to two wars for and paid $5,000,000,000,000 and close to 5000 American soldiers lives for, trumps Dr snitch's rights, whatever you perceive them to be. MISSION FINALLY ACCOMPLISHED! As far as preventing the 911 attacks, when Bush, was told during a presidential Daily Briefing that there were operatives training to fly heavy aircraft to likely use as weapons he said, and I may be paraphrasing a little, I don't want to hear any more of it. Read the 911 commission report. Your reality has replaced actual reality in your mind to the extent that I see no point in participating in this thread. See you on the boating side of the site! |

John, I am very proud of our military and intelligence personnel and their efforts to get bin laden.Of course we could have saved a lot of lives and a war or two if Clinton had taken care of him when he had the chance. What I am not proud of is a president doing everything possible to make sure we could not repeat the effort in the future, including giving out the details of how we did it to our enemies, just so the narcissist could try to claim some credit.

You are confusing Bush's score with Obama's. Bush: 3000 dead at WTC. 4475 soldiers dead in the useless wars in Iraq and Afghanistan. 35,000 injured, many permanently.$5,000.000.000.000 down the drain. It's where a good portion of our debt came from. However on Obama's watch we have had no attacks in the US, ended one war completely and the other is wound down, AND we killed Bin Laden. Send the message, if you attack us we will kill you whatever it takes. Screw the doctor, think about the 4475 soldiers who went to Bush's wars and never came home. I, along with every patriotic American, am very proud of our operation in killing Bin Laden. It is a display of guts and courage at all levels. Your viewpoint is surprising to me, sacrifice thousands of US soldiers and trillions of dollars to kill Bin Laden and Sadomy and its ok, let one snitch sit in jail for a while and the sky is falling. Who's side are you on? |

Wow john, I am amazed how you see one situation as black and white and thus ok, but and the other as white and black and thus wrong, when they are so similar. first the score is Bin laden over 3000 to the US's 1. ithe war on terror is about tied up, but we have Obama weakening our defense and handing out our playbook at half time. Our ability to even the score has been compromised.
We all know the doctor received political justice rather than legal as indicated that he conspired with the person he helped bring to justice, that would be like charging a cop for the crimes of a group he infiltrated in a sting operation. If that happened how many cops would participate in stings in the future? Pakistan stated they had a joint mission with the US to bring Bin Laden to justice. The doctor should be viewed as a hero by both countries for his contribution to achieve this goal. How can this be treason? Unless of course they were lying about there goals, and the us was falling for it which would indicate some serious shortcomings in this administrations foreign policy abilities. Obama on the other hand enthusiastically gave out our tactics to promote himself. Far closer to treason in my opinion. |

I don't know why you would think it is to enhance an election campaign. It is one of the biggest news stories in the past decade. At least he didn't stand on the aircraft carrier beneath a "MISSION ACCOMPLISHED" banner as they dumped the body. Yes, our government owed the "good doctor" whatever he was paid to commit treason against his country. Case closed. That's how it works. War is a dirty business and It's a business deal and nothing more. The bottom line is, USA 1 BinLaden 0 Take it to the bank ca ching! On the other hand, Fox News just did the same thing as good Dr treason. The difference is that soldier they outer was there to protect Fox's expectation of free speech, and for his heroism they published his name and home town. Like I said, they don't care what it costs the soldier as long as they profit from it. Are you one of "those people" who think that war and spycraft is fair? Maybe you object to killing tens of thousands of women and children with the atomic bomb and the firebombing of Tokyo. How about the bombing of Baghdad? Korea? Vietnam. When you play in these games the object is to kill, murder people. It's not to coddle. Do you really think anyone cares about good Dr Treason? And one other important fact that everyone is ignoring. The doctor who assisted the CIA in tracking down Osama bin Laden was sentenced to 33 years in prison for conspiring with an Islamist militant commander (Bin Laden), not for treason or conspiring with the US or CIA. The judgment against Shakil Afridi debunked the widely held assumption that he had been convicted for his involvement with the American spy agency. |
