It's a small world. I was contacted on this site by Dan Fitzgerald who used to own a 1985 Ski Nautique and ski on the same lake I currently ski on. Dan belonged to our ski club, dating back to the 80's. He shot me some photos of brand new Ski Nautiques from 1986. Thanks, Dan, we appreciate the photos!

Glad to see youre still alive, Ken. Cool pictures! Looks like a '87 snuck in there as well... must have been taken in late '86.

Yup, still alive and kicking, Tim.

I'm thinking one of the photos is definitely 1987. That MasterCraft is the newer hull design.

In 1986-1987 used to ride my bike down to the place that your see that gold MasterCraft. I watched these guys for hours, skiing, barefooting, kitchen stooling, etc. My first ride was in a '83 or '84 Nautique. I was hooked for life.

No problem, guys. I'm happy Dan located me on CCF.com. We've been swapping stories from back in the 80's. I'm sure we'll see more great classic photos pop up.

You've got to love photo scanners. I'm sure there's a lot of old classic photos out there sitting in people's albums. Anyone got any to share?

Love the nice shine on the hull of the Silvers.

haha thanks hollywood. I couldnt get that name to come to my mind when I was typing. The malibu had a little thicker upper deck on the nose and they had air intakes on the nose toward the front, where as the american skier had no intakes and a thinner topside.

Those pics are awesome! How sweet would it be to have one of those silvers right off the truck?!

I gotta get Jbear to dig out some photos of the six SN's he's had over the years and scan them on to a SD card for him. I'd love to see some of the photos of him skiing in March in Ohio!!!
