Had anyone ever heard of a 1976 ski tique with a Chrysler inline Six-cylinder engine from the factory?

Never have. Maybe a special order or repower for a lake with HP or engine size limit?

Yes we built a lot of them that year. Some lakes would not allow a v8 on the lake.

Never heard of that, I do remember those old slant 6 engines were known to run forever. New York Taxi companies put 300,000 taxi miles on them typically. What was the power rating? I guess 150 HP?

Interesting that they chose the straight 6 over a V-6.
